Project Terms Overview
Last reviewed: 12 July 2026
This plain-English overview explains the typical structure of a website project. The signed project agreement controls the actual engagement and should be reviewed before work begins.
Scope and deliverables
The agreement defines the pages, features, content responsibilities, integrations, revisions, deliverables, and items not included. Work outside the agreed scope is discussed and approved before additional fees apply.
Timeline and client responsibilities
Milestones depend on timely access to content, assets, feedback, approvals, and any required accounts. Material delays may require the schedule to be revised.
Payments
The typical structure is a 50% deposit to begin and 50% before final launch and handover. Invoices and secure payment instructions are issued after the scope and agreement are confirmed. No automatic payment is collected on this website.
Revision rounds
The Signature Business Website normally includes two structured revision rounds. A revision refines the approved direction; a major change of scope or direction may require a separate estimate.
Ownership and handover
Agreed final files and ownership are transferred after final payment, subject to any third-party licences, platform terms, fonts, stock assets, or tools that remain governed by their original licences.
Cancellation, pauses, and third parties
The agreement explains cancellation, project pauses, non-refundable work already completed, and responsibility for third-party providers. External hosting, domain, software, and platform services are subject to their own terms.
